NPP’s Aspiring Member of Parliament for the Ofuase Ayirebi constituency Kojo Oppong Nkrumah was overwhelmed during a visit to the funeral grounds of some bereaved families in the area.
Several sympathisers who were present to grieve with the families and pay their final respects to their departed loved ones were seen elated and comforted when the NPP Parliamentary candidate arrived with his constituency executives.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah together with the NPP constituency leadership went to a number of funerals to support the bereaved families.
“Funerals are a big part of our lives as a people here in the constituency, he said. You need to show you care and let everybody else also understand that what matters to them matters to you as well.”
The residents grouped themselves around his entourage - singing and dancing to the NPP’s campaign song while doing the ‘change’ sign with their hands in the air.
