Black Stars boss Kwasi Appiah claims he now has different tjpughta about his team after piping Kenya on Saturday in the last group game of the 2019 AFCON Qualifier.
The Ghana coach has hinted that his perception about certain departments of the game has changed following the hard fought victory over Kenya on Sunday.
“I have different thoughts about the defence and the striking role.
“Is better we play such games. sometimes the name alone do not count. You need to take top decisions,” Appiah stated at the post match press conference.
“As a coach, sometimes you take a risk, it works, sometimes it does not.”
“There are players who can play various positions and Andre is one. Going to the AFCON is such players we are looking at,” he added.
Appiah is expected to name his preliminary squad for the 2019 AFCON after the friendly with Mauritania.
