Former Ablekuma Central New Patriotic Party youth organiser, Isaac Asare, also known as Akonoba, has expressed his opinion that journalists who waste their time discussing the "fabricated Agyapadie document" may be suffering from some psychological problems.

Describing the document as fake, the politician questioned why journalists, even seasoned ones, would spend time discussing it.

He believes there are more pressing issues that should interest journalists rather than a document created to portray certain individuals in a negative light.

During an appearance on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, Akonoba stated that it is illogical for someone planning something malicious to document it and make it public.

"I don’t understand why experienced journalists would waste their time discussing the so-called Agyapadie book. If you are a journalist and you spend time on the Agyapadie document, then something may be wrong with you," he expressed.

"It is evident that every book in the world has an author. Therefore, for someone to hide and write a fake book or create a document that is believed by some is absurd. This situation only occurs in Ghana because we do not prioritize our public discourse correctly," he continued.

"Who in their right mind would document a malevolent agenda and have it published? If I wanted to harm you, Kwabena (referring to the host), would you expect me to write down my plan and then have it published, exposing my intentions to harm you?" he questioned.

"Is it because I am mentally unstable? We should concentrate on the more important issues at hand. The NPP is on the verge of launching its manifesto of bold solutions that will aid in transforming the country, and that is far more significant to me than a fabricated document," he concluded.
