Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications and Spokesperson for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign, has successfully implemented 80% of the promises outlined in the 2020 manifesto.

According to a myjoyonline.com report, Dennis Aboagye said the ruling government has fulfilled its promises, including attaining one of the party’s main objectives of reducing inflation to a single digit between 2017 and 2024.

Dennis Aboagye, during an interview on JoyNews’ AM show on August 16, 2024, emphasized, “Our manifesto, we have done just about 80%. It is 20% of what we have not been able to fulfil. We have run an analysis of our manifesto. You have it; run the analysis. Have you run an implementation of the NPP's manifesto? What percentage did you get? We have run a test of our manifesto to determine that there are 80% of the things that we said we would do that we have been able to do."

He acknowledged that the party has yet to implement the remaining 20% of its campaign promises but assured that the upcoming manifesto will focus on job creation for the youth.

“There is a 20% that is outstanding that we have not been able to entirely complete. Look at the macroeconomic indicators. When we came into office, one of our main objectives was to move our inflation to a single digit, which we succeeded in doing between 2017 and 2024, but today it’s around 20%.

“The manifesto is designed to ensure that the private sector not only thrives but also expands, increases production, and empowers citizens to access the opportunities generated. As businesses grow, they will naturally need to hire more people, leading to increased employment,” he said.

The New Patriotic Party is set to launch its manifesto on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Takoradi, the Western Regional Capital.

Consequently, the party has set up an 11-member committee to plan and execute the launch event.
