The National Sports Authority has decided to issue 35,000 tickets for the Ghana-Ethiopia game at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
According to local media reports as many as 87.5% of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium have been earmarked for the game.
The 35,000 tickets go for as low as GH¢5 for the Red and green seating areas (Popular Stands), GH¢10 for centre-line and a flat rate of GH¢20 for the VIP stands.
“It is so moderate so that everybody can come and watch the game,” the Ashanti regional director of the National Sports Stadium, Richard Iddrisu told starrsportsgh.com.
He continued: “It is a great pleasure; we are honoured to have the black Stars play at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. We are happy they are here once again. The last time they played here was against Comoros [in November 2015].”
“If they want to play the match today, the pitch is ready. A lot of work has been put into making the field much more enjoyable for the players.”
