Samira's brother, Adamu Ramadan is trustworthy - Adentan NDC executives

The Adentan NDC executives have vouched for the biological brother of First Lady Samira Bawumia describing him as very trustworthy and hence parties out there to damage his reputation have failed.

In a statement reacting to an earlier publication on GhanaWeb news portal, the executives indicated that Mr Ramadan was appointed as a presidential staffer during erstwhile Mahama’s administration without concerns about his family or his loyalty to the NDC.

“Whoever is behind these malicious attacks on Adamu Ramadan should be told in the face that for president Mahama and the good people of the Adentan to have entrusted him wholeheartedly with key positions is enough testimony that he is the right person for the job,” the statement reads on.

Re: Samira Bawumiah's brother files for NDC Parliamentary Candidate Slot

I have taken note of a malicious publication on ghanaweb by faceless people with the intent to damage the reputation of the 2016 Parliamentary Candidate of the NDC in the Adentan Constituency who is now aspiring to lead the NDC in the Adentan area again.

There is no doubt that Adamu Ramadan is the blood brother of the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia. What is wrong with that? In any case, Adamu Ramadan was a presidential staffer under the Mahama administration working at the Office of the President. Before Mahama appointed him as a staffer, he knew that Ramadan's sister was married to Dr Bawumia who was then the running mate to Akufo Addo yet he trusted him to work at the presidency.

That same period, Adamu Ramadan was elected as the Parliamentary Candidate for the Adentan Constituency beating Ashie Moore who was the sitting Member of Parliament. All this while nobody raised concerns about his family background?

Whoever is behind this malicious attacks on Adamu Ramadan should be told in the face that for president Mahama and the good people of the Adentan to have entrusted him wholeheartedly with key positions is enough testimony that he is the right person for the job.

Take John Jinapor of the NDC and Abu Jinapor of the NPP as an example. These are blood brothers who belong to rival political parties. Is there any family in Ghana where all members belong exclusively to only one political party?

We know those behind this evil agenda in the Adentan. Their evil machinations will not see the light of the day.

Adamu Ramadan is now a household name in the Adentan.

Ramadan is a true gentleman, a kind-hearted man, very friendly and a man of charity. He never abandoned the party because he lost the contest to the NPP's Buaben Asamoah. This is the reason the grassroots called on him to return and reconquer the lost Adentan seat.

The only person the Adentan people know is Ramadan. There is no way the delegates will choose a husband beater as their Parliamentary Candidate. Never!
