Suspended Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has revealed that some of the young ones in the party who do not understand its political chemistry speak as if they are crazy.
Allotey Jacobs has been suspended by the biggest opposition political party, NDC, for engaging in what they described as anti-party activities.
He has as a result also decided to quit all radio engagements; a move which was dictated by a spiritual encounter he had with the late Prof Atta Mills.
"I had a dream and I had an encounter with the former President. I’ve been made part of his family and everything they do, they involve me. So in the encounter with him, he said I should relegate everything going on in order to prevent pointing fingers at me in the future. So to avoid people pointing fingers at me, I have decided to let go off everything including my spots on radio stations.”
But speaking in an interview with Accra-based Okay FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Allotey Jacobs said it’s about time there is dissent in the NDC and that if people do not agree with the political party’s position on an issue, that doesn’t mean the individual is engaged in anti-party activities.
“The young ones in the political party do not understand the chemistry of the party. These young ones move from radio stations to radio stations speaking like they are crazy. They speak anyhow and disrespect the elderly.”
When asked about his relationship with the former President, he said he has an allegiance to him considering his relationship with his father.
He described him as a gentleman who won’t hurt a fly but have people around him who are taking advantage of him.
