The Deputy Communication Officer for the UK and Ireland Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has criticized the founder of the Movement for Change (M4C) for his intention to run for and be elected as the next President of Ghana.

Fiifi Asante Mpare claims that the former Trade and Industry Minister contributed to the turmoil caused by President Akufo-Addo's incompetent administration, disqualifying him from the presidency.

The communicator asserted that the aspiring presidential candidate should not even consider running or making promises.

He labeled him as incompetent and lacking the necessary qualifications to manage the country's affairs.

Mpare pointed out that Kyerematen, as Trade Minister, failed to make the Komenda Sugar Factory operational, yet he now seeks the presidency.

"I commend M4C for their candidacy, but not because they will win. Their participation in the elections will reduce the NPP's votes, creating opportunities for the NDC. There's a saying that those who seek equity must come with clean hands.

"Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen is a respectable man, but his hands are not clean. He was complicit with them. He is a bona fide member of the New Patriotic Party.

"Had he been chosen as their presidential candidate with the backing of government machinery, he would have promoted the NPP and ignored everyone else. So, if he criticizes them today, we won't argue," he said.

He continued, "However, I remind Ghanaian voters that neither of these two parties deserves your vote come December, as both have let us down. Alan served as the NPP's Trade Minister.

"He was tasked with operationalizing the Komenda Sugar Factory but failed to do so. How many people found employment in the trade sector?" he stated during an interview with Dr. Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM.
