We live in a mixed economy where freebies cannot sustain our future except you don't know our infrastructure deficit must first be tackled to allow for smooth running of economic activities before considering spending programmes.

@Abban, the NDC, which I should believe you subscribe to, if I am to deduce from your line of thought, has been in power for 27years out of our 67years of independence, longer than any other political party or regime, and you are here talking about infrastructure deficit. What did they do with the time in power? Do they need another 100years in power to fix our infrastructure deficit? What happens to the human capital on waiting, wasted? Do you know the value and capabilities of the human being if well nurtured and trained?

Anyway, spending on education and other critical social programmes cannot be downplayed. Development of human capital is far more important than any physical (brick and mortar) infrastructure. If children are to study under trees in order for them to acquire some knowledge, skill and trade to be productive, that is far better than letting them wait until God knows when for the so-called infrastructure to be ready. That will be a wasted time and human resource. It is an unpardonable error.

Guys don’t worry yourselves with the stupidity of that failed musician. He is a fraud. He fronts people and charge them hefty sums of money.

A-Plus is working for an NDC owned media conglomerate, and so why won’t he protect that dirty hands that feeds him. Moreover he is married to a woman whose entire pedigree and community are inherently in enmity with the Akuffo-Addo administration. He is not a free thinker, he doesn’t have what it takes a man to be head of his own house. Kwaseato!

How come he has sent his wife and kids to live at a place he can’t freely go to? If he could provide for his wife she wouldn’t left him and travel to England or whatever! Since his failed attempt to get one Dr Anyaa reinstated as the CEO of the Kole-bu Teaching Hospital he has feigned attacks against the government without any tangible reasons! “If the back of your hands can offer you deliciousness, it’s nowhere close to what your palm can give you” — that’s according to an Akan adage. It simply means that “had A-Plus managed the contract that Akuffo-Addo offered him at BOST OIL TRANSPORTATION CORPORATION” he wouldn’t be a follow follow to the Mahama and his criminal cartel.

By the way A-Plus should admit that those of his peers in the showbiz business who are successful in their music careers like Sakodie, Stone Boy and Shatta Wale and others don’t insult people who are old enough to be their parents in exchange for some “chicken pies to feed on! Kwaseato!!!

What's in good speech that shows that the speaker would be able to solve our numerous problems? We have heard good speeches since 1992 and given standing ovations yet here we found ourselves over 30 years of this dispensation. The speech delivered by Prof Naana Opoku Agyeman to me is nothing to write home about if it cannot be put into practice. Practice that brings development, good living conditions and stable economy. What did she say that we haven't heard before especially election year. Re-branding of buses, guinea fowls, one-time premium for NHS etc are still fresh in our minds. NDC and Mahama are not the solution to our economic problems.
