Akuffo Addo does not understand the most fundamental tenet of representative democracy, that is, the social contract between the people - ALL the people - and the leaders. This is POL SC. 101. Blinded by his delusion of grandeur, and equally intoxicated by his illusion of invulnerability, the President has denigrated the holistic purview of representative governance into a partial, exclusive politics to involve only NPP foibles. The unity of the sate is now cracked by excusive partisan politics.

Maybe the constitution should cap the age at which one can become a president at 60 and below.

That is the political thinking of the entire NPP setup. I have detected this for some time. Most of the appointees behave like Ghana is their private property to be used in Funding the NPP. Their various Regional Chairmanship behave like the Regions belong to them. It’s up to Ghanaians to decide what to do about this behaviour and the general NPP Thinking during ELECTIONS.
