This guy is ignorant about the Ashantis. I have lived in Kumasi before and can say without any doubt that , the Ashamtis detest the name "tanii" or "pepefuo". You may say i'm being ethnocentric, but thats the bare truth. A full blooded Ashante will never vote for a "tani" to lead them. So it's not about the npp as a party but the fact its been led by someone who is from a group that they consider sub human. Bawomia got 60% at the primaties. These are pure npp members , yet 40% said they did not like. Again, the shallow analysis is premixed on the fact that all voters in the ashante region are going vote and everyone who voted for npp in the past wi vote for them again. If npp wins this election in the face of this economic disaster and plain thievery, then we do not deserve any development or reprieve as a country.
