But, it is wrong, even if that’s what it had done in the past, to schedule debates without prior consultation and agreement with the candidates of interest. If we are adopting practices, it is of critical importance to know what is done in other jurisdictions, and how they do it.

I would be very sad if Mahama gives in to this debate because it is a trap and whatever he says would be a propaganda tool for the NPP. Have we all noticed how their communicators have been told to pretend they do not understand the 24 hr economy? Mahama pls keep off that debate. Massa , in 2020 we all saw and read the comments by the NPP why they didn't want a debate between Nana Addo and Mahama. Ghanaians thought it was a regular tradition for debates to be held among Presidential candidates during election years but then in 2020 it didn't happen cos the NPP saw no need for a debate even though JM asked for it .
Today you have same institution front for bawumia because he's calling for a debate .
I've stated my opinion I without provocation. I'm an NDC card bearing member and a delegate but I've vowed to campaign against Mahama from the very moment he'll accept to debate bawumia on any platform .. even if on a WhatsApp platform .
