The problem of peace council is ineffectiveness. Instead of using the peacebuilding approach, they are using the fire fighting approach. With peacebuilding approach, they will have resolved these conflicts long before now. The second problem they have is the hypocrisy of failing to call a spade, a spade. What is condemnable must be condemned no matter who the culprit is. Their failure is the attempt to build peace in secret and not come out openly. Evil, is evil, no matter the day, date, time or who is involved. Peace council does not want to be seen condemning evil and that is why the work is difficult for them. To the extent that they cannot even take a stand on LGBTQ++. Please, if 8 unarmed NPP members are shot by the security forces who are paid by the tax payer, it is equally as wrong as if CPP, PNC, NDC, Reform Party or any other political party. So stop insulting the honourable lady and lets face the truth.

Some NPP members have threatened not to hand over power to the NDC even if they win the elections but this useless body has not called Bryan Acheampong, NAPO and Akuffo Addo to order. If the peace council has any meaningful messages , they should address them to the EC , the IGP, the security agencies, the CDS and arm commander to make sure that the election is peaceful , free and fair. As simple as that .
