As soon as they came to power in 2009, instead of giving the tractors to the farmers as was planned, they rather distributed them to NDC MPs and officials with the excuse that the farmers didn't have the money to buy them, but they (NDC people) were buying them and rent them out to the farmers. Asiedu Nketia took one tractor, Ablan Bagbin took 1 tractor, and the other NDC Northern MPs including Ayariga took them too
