(1) There shall be a President of the Republic of Ghana who shall be the Head of State and Head of Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ghana.

Despite Otumfuo’s public condemnation of the havoc galamsay is doing in Ashanti his utterances are empty. Even some of his sub-chiefs are neck deep in the practice. A case in point is the chief of EsaaseBontefufuo and his Kontihene. They are destroying the farm lands like there is no tomorrow.
If the chief is doing galamsay with impunity then the ordinary people will also engage in it.
Posterity will blame all, including Otumfuo.

The Otumfour’s attention needs to be drawn to this as two heads, they say, is better than one, perhaps if his attention is drawn to this, he’s going to make the necessary move to do something about the way Galamsey is destroying vast lands in the region
