All I keep hearing is let's obey the courts let's obey the courts. Are the supreme Court judges not human beings like the read of us? Can't they make mistakes too. The supreme Court recently unfortunately speaks more politics than law. Not consistent with their rulings and practices as well approach to issues before them. E levy that the minority alleged was approved by 136 mps from then majority side is still pending before them. SALL is still being thrown about in the court, LGBTq+++ is still before them. Soon at the rate these things are being done will get all of us into some problems which we will battle to overcome. The law must be practiced and applied in such a manner that all of us must feel confident in the system.

Why does this not apply to the other MPs? Until the end of this parliament, will their salaries be given to the persons who would be elected to take their places on 7th December? Does the 2nd Deputy Speaker lose his position, and who takes it before the next parliament?

The constitution may have failed to touch on all such issues, but they must be clarified. The MPs who have decided to contest the next elections on different tickets have only given notice of their intentions for the next parliament. Their decisions must not affect their responsibilities in the current parliament!

That is clearly spelt out by the CONSTITUTION which framers in their wisdom foresaw the likely case of the bastardization of the SC by crooked acclamation.
