They know they are losing the elections. They did the same thing on 7th January, 2021 and nearly stalled the swearing in of President Akufo Addo for his second term.

When your Akufo-Addo-Bawuliar NPP government wanted to shove E-Levy and other obnoxious taxes down our throats, were you not the one who went to the "unanimous FC" to get a ruling that the member presiding can vote? And succeeded in getting the Supreme Court to make an interpretation alien to the spirit and letter of our constitution, just so you can introduce the draconian E-Levy because Ken Ofori-Attah has assured you 88 MPs that, if you pass that revenue handle for him, we shall NOT go to the IMF. Yes because in Previous parliaments the majority always had the numbers to approve any foolish and stupid bill brought to parliament. This is typical of the 7th parliament where the mantra was "You can have your say but we will have our way" This is the reason Ghana is in such a mess now. Even Agyapa deal was approved by the majority NPP MPs. Every situation Ghana finds itself in should be blamed on NPP MPs of the 7th parliament. Of course there is friction now because they don't normally have the numbers to pass everything.

This 8th Parliament started on the wrong note by voting for Bagbin as the Speaker. There are more decent persons in NDC that could have done a far better job than this entitled Bagbin. He's too full of himself.

Precisely what we voted for. Because many of you are bandits worse than Boko Haram bandits. Unlike your counterparts in the more civilised world, you fly in luxury charted flights at £17, 000 an hour whilst many struggle for a meal a day. So, what is happening in Parliament currently is should be celebrated and welcome. The more competitive it becomes, the better our dysfunctional politics. I cannot wrap my head around the notion that someone went around crying that voters should "also try him" and once in power does not even listen to anyone and lives in complete alternate reality. The current old man at the Jubilee House is the worst and goes down in history as the worst. Even people who seized power violently in our country's history paused to listen to people. Many would celebrate the day this overly arrogant but profoundly misguided leaves office. I have not drank beer in my whole life, but I will throw a party that evil old man leaves office either peacefully or violently.
