Now the same corrupt Nana justices are taking the opposite view that the 4 MPs that have vacated their seats in parliament by changing their political affiliations and filed with the EC are only declaring for a future election so their actions have not kicked in? The Speaker, Mr Ebenezer Sekyi Hughes, on Friday declared the Tamale Central constituency seat vacant following the resignation of the Member of Parliament for the area, Professor Al-Hassan Wayo Seini on Thursday.
Before declaring the seat vacant, the Speaker told the house that he had received communication from the
member confirming his carpet crossing from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to his mother party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Sekyi Hughes quoted article 97 of the constitution and Standing Order 80 and declared the seat vacant in vih provisions of the two documents.

Wisdom and leadership should be exercised in applying party constitution and by-laws to avoid inconsistencies, whether the party gains or loses, and whether pronounced by Oquaye or Bagbin. Same Wisdom and leadership needs to be elevated when majority leader's ego is bruised due to illegal actions by 3 of his members, be the man, settle issues in-house and stop running to Supreme Court to wash his dirty linens. Kwesi Kwarteng, na who cause am? Certainly it's not the Speaker, for you went to court before the Speaker said "fiii"

MPs are afraid of the speaker because speaker could declare their seat vacant of they disrespect the standing orders of parliament and some provisions in the constitution,
today we have got a UFC minus 2 who are misinterpreting the constitution to their whims and capricious rendering the speaker powerless-

These so-called educated activists spew venom and poison the very fabric of society. They try to lie to the public. Is this lawyer Kwarteng saying what Afenyo-Markin initiated and harvested from the courts is good for our democracy? Look, the truth is the truth. To run away from the truth, the NPP is being forced to condemn its own constitution. The party is under pressure to condemn its own Pro. Aaron Quaye, the former Speaker. It is forced to accept back those it has expelled 'automatically'.
We yearn to build a generation that will respect truth and imbibe patriotism. A nation founded on lies and untruth is like a house built on sand. And to Kwasi Kwarteng, he can climb a tree to view farther away but the old man sitting under the tree can see farther than him. Does he really understand 'wisdom and maturity'?
It's time to save our wards from eating expired rice at school.
