This Togolese trokosi Ayigbe chief should give Ghanaians a break. He knows that Atuguba is a card carrying member of the NDC the party of Ayigbes and Northerners just as Afede himself. The Supreme Court interpreted the Constitution as it's prerogative and here is a Togolese chief talking about logic. He demonstrates his ignorance of the law and the operation of the Judicial process. If Afede wants a country where the judicial system is based on logic he should cross the border into his country Togo. After all during the 1956 plebiscite the Ayigbes who voted to remain Togolese were the people in his enclave in Ayigbeland.

What defies logic is rather how we came by some of these so-called enlightened chiefs and rulers. The Supreme Court's decision was Spot on in this instance. Anybody who cannot follow the reasoning behind the SC's decision must have their head examined.

It stands to reason that MPs can only make plans for the next parliament in the course of the current session of parliament. If an MP decides to quit parliament in the next session, why should that lead to being sacked from the current parliament? A highly respected leader in our community must know better than conclude that the Speaker's decision to declare four seats vacant was in line with logic! Perhaps such a chief has rather lost logical thinking!
