Is this the first time that a political party has more than two thirds majority of seats in Parliament? The first parliament was made up of more than 90 per cent of NDC members. But the Speaker at the time was very fair, competent and wise. He gave the Lone Ranger the late Madam Hawa Yakubu enough space to make that Parliament efficient. However, your conduct and performance as the Speaker of the 8th Parliament was poor. Your open bias towards the Minority NDC and its criminal leader was legendary. Your disobedience of the Supreme Court is fresh in our minds. Your illegal declaration of 4 seats vacant seats should haunt you. Even on the night that the 8th Parliament was dissolved, you shamefully acknowledged the presence of the Chairman and other leaders of the NDC only. No political party was recognized. Then just yesterday at the inauguration of the president, you shamefully recognized the NDC as if it was the only political party present. Therefore nobody’ will take you seriously until you repent and change your ways. Too much partisanship is covering your sense of fair play and judgement
