Sorry but Akuffo-Ado won the election for the NDC and John Mahama. How could he appoint over 16 persons including this one from one warring ethnicity that is hostile to the NPP to the neglect of the party's support base and still expect to win the election for the party? This guy and his kinsmen only campaigned against the party in favor of chieftaincy but is now pretending to be talking in favor of the party. NPP shouldn't commit the same mistake as Akuffo-Ado did by appointing disloyal members like this to position of influence to the chagrin of it's supporting masses. Akuffo-Ado has destroyed the NPP with his intransigence and shear stupidity in areas of governance.

It appears the moment they will power they abandon the grassroots, change phone numbers and rather concentrate on family and friends. So in summary the greed, nepotism, selfishness, cronyism are the mean issues confronting our democracy.

Just last week, a friend of mine was asked to pay GHC28000.00 for admission to study medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. The girl had 7As (1) and a B (2) in Biology. She studied Science. The parents couldn't afford, so she had no choice than to opt for Pharmacy. Another girl with the same grades, the same university, has decided to resit Biology because her dream career is Medicine. The university is demanding money from her poor parents. What are we teaching the youth? We will surely reap what we are sowing now.
