  President Mahama has appointed a Minister of State for Climatic Change and Sustainability. I just hope the Ministerial Vetting Committee will, at the vetting, do the nation proud by requesting the new Minister to provide an in-depth explanation of what his job really entails. Does this help the cause of the much-touted drastic down-sizing of the Ministerial portfolios and the number of Ministers? This is especially so since the President has also appointed a Minister of Environment, Science and Technology.
