  MPs common fund must be discontinued. It should go to the constituenct directly. The current arrangement is deceptive.

  These are core points to separate powers and ensure pure check and balances in true democratic governance. Legislature playing executive role at the same time is very confusing. To ensure modern democracy, many amendments must be done to the existing constitution which has many loop holes and damaging many institutions. President has too much powers, electoral commission must be represented by all parties and be reviewed constantly, juries must be selected from the people to ensure true judgement, and many many… to sustain our democracy.

  Very good and important submission by Fiifi, a member of Parliament should resign his seat if appointed by the President. Also independence of the Judiciary is also important, separation of powers. The President nominates the CJ or Judges but the legislature has to vet and confirm them.

Put chairman Ntim side by side with chairman general mosquito and you'll be making a mockery of the former. The npp will soon go on comatose. Kudos Fifi for this insightful thinking and i hope the shot callers and policy makers gives this a very serious thought.
