  Let’s amend the Constitution to stop foisting government appointees/nominees and choices on the people in the Assemblies and as MMDCEs. The same people who elected the president and members of parliament are competent enough to elect their own MMDCEs and Assembly members. They should be trusted to make the right choices for themselves. The current system has outlived its relevance. Governance is of the people, by the people, and for the people
