History has it that the United Party comprises of Northern Peoples Party, another one from the Volta Region, the Ga etc. These small parties came together and formed the "United Party" in which the current NPP stands on.

The Kaleos, Dombos, Okudzetos, Odoi Sykes, Obetsebi Lampteys, Busias, Afriyie Akotos etc. We have to understand the roles these past heroes of the UP played for us to have the current NPP.

If they were selfish like what we see today, there would have been no NPP of today.
