Future presidents will have the same power to probe petitions against CJs and remove them, and the same people who are silent now would have lost the moral right to criticize. The NDC labeled the woman NPP without basis and wants her out because they lost court cases under her. But they forgot Akufo-Ado also lost cases under Atugba who was NDC before becoming a judge yet he worked with him till he retired. Atugba openly rebuked members of the NPP and even jailed some for commenting on the election petition in 2012. This woman didn't do same to the NDC in 2021.

This taken, we must interrogate what necessitated the first stance and now what she seems to churn out now. Doesn’t mean that she didn’t really think about the process thoroughly before issuing the first letter? What is now informing her sudden change to raising concerns about the process now?
Was she pressured in signing the first letter or is she being pressured now to speak against the very process she had praised?
In any case, is it legally wrong to oust the Chief Justice if she’s culpable? Isn’t it best practice that we allow our laws to work than seeking to make nonsense of that which we ourselves have held in high regard as LAW?.

Both procedures are based on the constitution although in the Charlotte Osei case, one of the petitioners even died. Yet, Mr. Shorttie, aka Kapwepwe, went ahead and removed her. So chill, Efua, while justice is dispensed to the Chief Justice.
