The same portion of fufu sold for 10gh is 5gh in Accra, and I ask myself how is that possible? Are the people self centered or just greedy for money to be selling food at such high price when majority of foodstuff comes from the region.

I'm highly disappointed in what I experienced in Amakom last Sunday.

This is all due to the artificial exchange rate of foreign currency engineered by government which gas caused a catastrophic crash in all exporting companies. Costs have not gone down, wages have not decreased, electricity gas gone up, fuel is going up, food costs have not gone down no matter what the minister says about prices in the north.. Any company that does not have a 40% profit margin is going bust. THIS is how the economy is going!
