I agree with him fully. As a presiding officer myself, there is no way you can lose the entire set of pink sheets. This is how it works. The actual name of the pink sheet is the form of declaration. It is a handwritten form with duplicates-as many as 8. After counting and recording on the original form, the duplicates are distributed to the party agents present, and posts one copy at the polling station for public view. The Presiding Officer keeps a copy for him/herself and keeps send over the original handwritten form to the EC Office. Even before one makes the trip, we were advised at training to take pictures of the completed form-just in case of any unforeseen eventuality. The POs have questions to answer. How can they claim to have lost all the forms. I smell a rat.
