  Dual Citizenship should be considered carefully because we can’t imagine the number of Nigerians and Togolese who would want to become Ghanaians. Can we trust our Nigerians and NYE BRO cousins? Don’t let us ask for what we can’t manage. Nigerians who obtain Ghanaian citizenship will make the traveling documents like our Traveling Passports useless in many places in the world, especially the Western World.

They are talking about Ghanaians who have travelled outside especially to Europe and the Americas, and have acquired citizenships of those countries. It is about Ghanaians by birth, so you have to be a Ghanaian first. This has nothing to do with Nigerians or any other nationalities..

Why can you contest for parliamentary and presidential elections in you adopted country? If you cannot do it there, you cannot also do it in Ghana. You cant eat your cake and have it.

  Look at how Hon. Gyakye-Quaison of NDC was man handled by the NPP because of his supposed duality. Ghanaians must be reminded that most dual citizens were born, bred, schooled, married and worked in Ghana before travelling. We hold the Ghana card just like our school mates. Is my brother from the same parent without any duality better in service and “more Ghanaian” than me who holds dual citizenship? This beats my mind!

  I'm a dual citizen myself. Ghanaian/British but I love Ghana more. Most dual citizens do because it was just out of economic reasons that we became dual citizens. So if the laws are relaxed or changed most will contribute their quota to national development in those positions they qualify like Mr Quayson. He doesn't love Ghana less because he's also a Canadian. If we are not worried about hiring a foreign coach to manage our Blackstars then so should we be bold to extend that to all dual Ghanaians in the diaspora.
