Certainly not! If I am to conjuncture, Mr. Pratt will be all over the airwaves screaming himself hoarse - whipping the sentiments of gullible Ghanaians about the power drunkiness of either leader who lead the NPP. Given his favourite political party lead by - JDM, he is betraying his 'hypocrazy' by appearing to advise his best friend not to yield. Inwardly it is almost certain he'd wish the constitution permitted this and it will not be a surprise if behind the scenes he is rather advising the leadership of the NDC to out their two-thirds majority in Parliment to initiate changes in the constitution to allow this. At least he'd be excused given that his daughter is a spokes-lady for the Veep, he is betraying his sycophancy and it is so glaring.

This fetish about a restrictive two-term presidency is a bit worrisome, old school and undemocratic. Let anybody who so wishes to stand for any elective position - be it a chairperson of the kaya-yei association to the President of Ghana, do so freely without any artificial and undemocratic impediments. The voting people are the sole and legitimate arbiters and deciders in this matter.

Forget about the 30 odd million people of Ghana. The entire world of 7 billion plus people, suffer from a dangerous deficit of good leaders. For the lack of good leadership material, look at the poor quality of leaders in even the most advanced countries. They are pathetic.

So my humble advise is that if perchance we are at any time blessed with a good leader like Kwame Nkrumah or anything remotely close to his political demeanor, we should grab him with all the breath left in us and ignore the nay-sayers in our midst.

However Ghana can have a referendum if the citizens want Mahama to extend his term and in this case parliament will have to vote on it since they represent the country . I believe that this issue has been sufficiently dealt with by Government's spokesperson Felix Ofosu Kwakye in a recent interview on UTV. He stated emphatically that the president isn't interested in any such thing and the constitution is very clear on Presidential term limits. I think we should all let this matter rest once and for all.

Cheddar 2. Hassan Ayariga..Mahama is a timid president who will defend foreigners aka Nigerian criminals and leave Ghanaians to suffer because he doesn’t want to destroy his relationship with criminal Nigerians..# say no to Mahama’s 3rd term..I actually started thia Mahama for 3rd term campaign but I think Mahama is too timid to be president for the 3rd term..foreigners will bully Ghanaians in Ghana too much.mahama values how relationship with Nigerian criminals than the lives of Ghanaians..

Media houses started discussing about it..Mahama is not qualified, he is too timid as a president..if he tries to run for 3rd term he will fail and will loose votes massively..Africans especially Ghanaian politicians don’t understand democracy and that’s why our country is always struggling..currently a lot of Ghanaians are not happy with the presence of Nigerian criminals in Ghana..this Igbo 419 criminal so called king should have been arrested and prosecuted for Ghanaians to know that u listen to them..Democracy simply means doing what the citizens want..so even if u are bringing something good to Ghana and majority of the citizens say they don’t want it, as a govt u need to listen and stop..that’s one of the reasons why Npp lost the election, because a lot of Ghanaians were against the national cathedral so nana Addo should have listened to the masses and put a stop to it..but he continued and it made a lot
