  Any NDC and NPP supporter who engages in any criminal activity during the voting is the one who stands the risky chance of facing punishment.

  The leaders of both the NDC and NPP are to blame for the violence that often takes place at polling stations or political events such as funerals for politicians. The party followers who engage in these violent acts would not be doing so if their political leaders did the right thing by impressing on the their followers that no acts of violence against political opponents will be tolerated. Instead, these political leaders simply fold their arms and watch as the mayhem takes place, then they show up in the media to make useless noise that their party will retaliate or if attacked. These acts of violence can be avoided if NDC and NPP leaders take responsibility for making sure that their members refrain from acting violently towards their political opponents. Party leaders should act like leaders, and their followers will not be engaging in acts of violence.
