We all know the Ghanaian democracy is broken! However, the question on most inquiring minds is: who is the culprit, or who broke it with their "Reset Agenda, Partisan Cleansing, Our Party Is In Power, The EC Must Go, We Need NDC Lawyers Too On The Bench, or The President Must Have A Third Term?"

Why are most people saying that if only Prof. H.K. Prempeh and Dr. Nii Moi Thompson can get the vision and rules right on the Path to Peace and Prosperity, and insulate the public independent institutions from political interference, the rest will be achievable? Is it because elected officials like you know who operate on short-term political cycles, while administrations or governments come and go, but independent institutions focus on the long term?

How do we insulate these independent public institutions that this incumbent administration is eroding, culminating in the nation's worst global peace ranking? Elsewhere, they are implementing their fifteenth five-year development plan. How do we achieve continuity, consistency, and coherence, rather than wastage, political equalization, over-billing, political campaign financing, and recouping of their investment, all at the detriment of the Ghanaian?
