His aim is just to become president after making money so he can brag about it. After using dubious attitudes to get contracts from his own party in government with the aim of helping the party he turns round and sabotage the efforts of the NPP for his parochial interest. Such a character should not be allowed close to power to sabotage the entire country because that's his aim.
