  We were in this country when former President John Agyekum Kufuor had Tsatsu Tsikata sentenced to prison term for an action which was not a crime at the time he did the act.
  That was the day some of us who supported and brought John Kufuor to power deserted him and decided to support the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
  It is written in black and white in our 1992 Constitution that a law when enacted cannot take retrospective effect.
  But on that matter The State VRS. Tsatsu Tsikata the law was bend by the judges at Ghana's Supreme Court to take retrospective effect against our 1992 Constitution and the United Nations' Convention on Human Rights of which Ghana is a signatory.
  Tsatsu Tsikata's case was a blot on the conscience of the Supreme Court.
