President Akuffo Addo decided to build the Cathedral in honor of God. Unless the Cathedral is built any Christian who spoke against the building of the Cathedral will never find life easy. If you follow US SC cases, they ruled recently on Trump using his presidential powers. The US SC said it was legal.

The problem here is that many people in Gh do not understand why they vote. They think a person is from their tribe so that is the one who should occupy a political position. Or "it has reached his turn".

We vote for a President and bestow enormous powers on the person to in effect live our life's for us as he or she deems fit. We hand over our lives to the person.

Now when those, whose buildings were demolished, get judgement debt awarded to them, the state will have to pay. And there would nothing wrong legally to make such judgement debt payment. But will that justify the decision to site the project where buildings had to be demolished for the project, especially when many Ghanaians spoke the location because these ectra cost implications? Let's refrain from making political parties our gods.

So this NDC Attorney General is telling Ghanaians that Akuffo-Addo did nothing wrong financing the cathedral for the reason that it is a state project.Who gave Akuffo-Addo the right to turn his private project into a state project and use state money to fund it? I hope this governmemt is not trying to legalise the building of the Cathedral. Ghanaians will not accept it. And why is the government defending Akuffo-Addo's government at the supreme court?
