  And his people then rejected him in the presidential election.
  I bet nothing is going to change in the north in the January presidential primaries.
  Isn’t it interesting that his campaign is now inviting us all (in the south) to disregard where we come from and reject our own?

  I really have to restrain myself not to pass any comment on this comedy but I must overturn this will.what is this professor hinting? Competence and ability? Ha, how come Ghanaians threw them out to land hard on rocks? They are still nursing their wounds, though. Note that competence is different from ability. Dr Bawumia professed so many economic theories to convince Ghanaians he was an economic wizkid. What happened thereafter. He was not having the ability to transform the economy. Inflation soared through the roof, hitting 54%. The cedis depreciated to all time low of 17 to 1 dollar. Globe-trotting with calabash in hand became the norm, leading to unsustainable debt levels. Investor confidence waned, resulting to capital flight. Let's pause here. Did Bawumia say competence and ability? Why did he flee from the economy where all his textbook econometric models failed? He entered a new realm to preach inter-operability and forgot about his economic models. The question is where did the inter-operability take us. I thought this was a natural global development that erupted with the advent of the computer and technology. What lesson has this doctor learnt? None? Look, you may be competent by the definition of your spouse but if you lack the ability to critically solve real problems with your knowledge or skill, then I am afraid you have failed. Now Bawumia should tell us: did his party really vote on
  competence and ability? I've seen galamsay kingpins and shady elements forcing their way into Parliament on the ticket of the NPP. Have these also been voted based on competence and ability? Is dancing and singing shamelessly a truism of competence and ability? Well, the people cannot always be deceived.
