For people like you who stood for and continue to defend the catastrophic period of infernal governance of the Akuffo Addo led Nkwasiafuor Peoples Party, it is not surprising at all that you are not able to recognize what President Mahama has achieved in less than a year after taking over from the ruins that the NPP left for us. Even if, as you claim, President Mahama is not showing good promise, at the very least, the man's charisma, good pleasant nature and demeanor, highly elevates him above the chaff of yesteryears. Just those attributes gives us enough hope with which we can finally enjoy our sleep at night. With these credentials, he stands tall even among and above other world leaders. Perhaps some of you are not sensitive to good sense and quality achievements but who in his right mind would throw away a good thing when there is no ready replacement in an environment where competence is a very rare commodity?

The Nkwasiafuor Peoples Party did the same thing by undermining and overthrowing the govt of the African of the millennium, the Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah. And for sixty long years since then, this country has suffered from severe mass abuse by all sorts of incompetent political pretenders and Nkwasiafuor. The result of this nightmare reduced this country from a nuclear reactor status and a bouyant economy in the 1960s that even had to import labor from neighboring countries to a miserable pile of rubbish today, where common water and electricity cannot be guaranteed.

When push comes to shove, a referendum should be called to determine whether it is those few stone deaf members of the CRC and their neocolonial bedfellows or the discerning people of Ghana, who have the interest of this country at heart.

For building the motorway and the entire port city of Tema at 1st World standards at the time, the forefathers of the Nkwasiafuor Peoples Party, criticized, insulted and lambasted Kwame Nkrumah every day on the grounds that he had wasted money on extravagant white elephant projects. For them it is better to come up with capital intensive projects, approve monies for the project and chop the money. The first term has been zeroed out because of the lies of the NPP resulting in his not being able to finish what he started. Now that we have him, if by 2027 December the momentum of the restructuring of the country calls for it, there's no way he shouldn't continue. If there's still a lot of work in progress he would have to have his second term, that first one can't be counted. What we need is the development of this country not opportunity to come steal from the coffers of the country.
