Some of these NPP political sycophants and nincompoops are refusing to be practical and realistic. Bawumia is by no means the most qualified. Yes, he may be the most qualified in a university classroom as a teacher. Unfortunately, in the political arena, he has been tested and failed woefully and disgracefully. Was it not Bawumia who was made to head the corrupt Akkufo-Addo economic team and failed miserably, dumping Ghanaians into the economic mess? He became the vice president by default, bypassing all the political veterans and the most qualified only to mess up. The most capable? No. There are other most capable individuals in the party far more qualified than Bawumia. The most winnable? He was presented and the rest is history. Even at the time when Mahama's political fortunes were questionable, Bawumia was rejected by the people. Now that the NDC has established itself as a better choice than the NPP, Bawumia is never going to win. Unfortunately, some of these NPP loudmouths are clamoring for him to take advantage of his naivety and incompetence. They will all live to regret.
