I hope the new Chief Justice will do something about the alleged corruption of the judiciary as an institution. Ghana's judicial adjudication is alleged to the highest bidder, and the new Chief Justice would be deemed a failure if he does not put a stop to this illegal practice. He was part of the "aluta" revolution, and he knows what it means to fight corruption. If President Mahama wants to prove himself as a leader whose word is his bond, he should fire his appointees who refuse to carry out his orders.
