  It's a good thing to provide an Embassy in Addis Ababa for Ghanians. It is equally important for the President of Ghana to think about the African Union, but it is more important that we emphasize the unity of ECOWAS.

  Well done for the beautiful Embassy in the fast growing and beautiful Addis Ababa. How I wish Accra could look like Addis Ababa. Our national capital Accra is a village compared to Addis Ababa. The transformation of Addis Ababa is mind blowing. This is what can be achieved with a good and a determined leadership. A leadership which can take bold decisions and implement them meticulously. Honestly, I couldn't believe what I saw when I visited Addis Ababa 2 months ago. Just incredible. What a beautiful city with gorgeous street lights, beautiful parks, wide streets (boulevards), water fountains, beautiful flowers and trees along the streets , children play grounds, beautiful buildings, pedestrian walk ways, inter city commuter trains, beautiful museums and shopping malls, and very, very clean everywhere, etc. etc. Addis Ababa gave me hope that (with good leadership) we in Africa can also transform our society to the level seen in the advanced industrialized countries.

  Visit that Embassy after 2 years and you will see that everything in the premises is runned down due to lack of maintenance. We build edifices but never make financial allocations for maintenance. You visit Government offices ...

  Visit that Embassy after 2 years and you will see that everything in the premises is runned down due to lack of maintenance. We build edifices but never make financial allocations for maintenance. You visit Government offices and there are no toilet paper in the washroom. This simply means that there are no financial allocations for such things.
