Why should a supposedly independent arm of government act as an appendage of the president? The dubiously named "office of the special prosecutor" was foisted upon the good people of this country without due consideration of constitutional questions and frameworks of operation. Many in parliament, inclincluding the speaker stated similar sentiments. But when the time came for parliament to scrap this inept and corrupt excuse of an investigative body, you, Dafeamekpor, Ayariga and parliament as a whole, behaved quite dishonourably. Mahama may be misinformed and quite chicken-hearted from the fiasco of the chief justice's sacking. But parliament, which foisted the OSP on us in the first place had a duty to Ghanaians. Do the right thing, and stop the complaints!

It therefore simplistic to say they have similar budgets but performing differently. I believe with time the osp will grow and be visible outside accra
