The alleged power struggle, for the succession to the Presidency was Triggered by Mahama's unenforced error of telling the world, he had no ambitions to go for the third term. Mr Mahama, must be clear in his mind that, Ghanaians will tell him, whether we want him to stay or not.( He now public property).
There are a host of tell tales signs, which suggests our President is weak on discipline.
His inability to crack the whip, to bring erring
officials into line, his inaction or unwillingness to setup Special Courts to deal with corrupt practices, in the erstwhile Government, and others, simply defies belief.
He lacks good, efficient and competent , political adviser. In order to dismiss the Tag of the DUMDUR GOVERNMENT, HE LEAD FROM THE FRONT TO CHECK AND MAKE SURE, POWER WAS RESTORED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Sadly, the Energy Minister has failed, to tske a leaf from the Road Minister, on the spot check, on the installation of the new huge Transformers and Power Points to replace the old smaller and dated one. Doesn't he realise the immeasurable political points, he will be scoring for himself and the party? Picture, broadcast reels and videos of him making these rounds, will not only assay the fears, but increase belief in him and his government.
We crave for reports on some of our troublesome sectors of government. (ESPECIALLY ELECTRICITY.)
