I believe the issue at stake is what the president is doing about it. The president may not be directly involved, but is ultimately responsible for happenings under his watch and leadership. A subtle re-introduction of criminal libel is dangerous for a country like Ghana; and may be institutionalised in our body politic if the needed action is neglected. The call now is for the right action to be taken, lest we unconsciously slip into the PDA days. For me it is deflecting, a bit arrogant and probably disrespectful to say because the president is not directly responsible for these misplaced arrests, no action should be taken. My gteatest fear in all of these, is not the politician, after they know how to cover each other: it is the ordinary Ghanaian. Let's act now before this bad tendency becomes institutionalised
