The least said about the Gonja regional elections in Savannah region, the better. The Gonjas are preventing other tribes from contesting political parties positions while they alone contest. My research has shown that the Lobiand Birifor tribes are forcefully prevented from contesting in any election. They started with the NPP constituencies elections and extended to the regional elections.
