That said, I genuinely appreciate this move on your part. I would, however, suggest that you consider coming out openly to clarify and, if appropriate, apologise for that earlier statement. Such a gesture could help address concerns among both your supporters and your opponents and may contribute to a more constructive public discourse.

Once in opposition remain in opposition. In politics apology is rendered to introduce pacification but the words are never called. Once said is said.
Kwame Nkrumah killed J.B. Danqua in gas chambers at Nsawam prisons. Then buried Obetsebi Lamptey alive so had been the history known very well to UP Tradition. He was a political enemy. And Dr. Busia once said political enemy is an enemy to guide against. Only do not condemn their personality.
There is no doubt, Kwame Nkrumah has a position in history yet not only his goodness but his atrocity would as well associate with him in perpetuity.
Honestly Nkrumah did very well in education and in industrialisation that is truly agreed. His educational policy was amongst the best in the world.( That was his mistake, developing brains then breaking the neck.) He was a dictator and a Comme who would have failed for Communism failed then ceased to exist.
After all he was a human being entitled to or never exempted in terms of mistakes. He became power drunk and a pure DICTATOR. OH! YES.
