Rex! I’m happy that we seem to be having a meaningful conversations of late sans insulting each other. Having said that, I think you must be very oblivious of how cases are adjudicated in courts and the roles that State Attorneys or Prosecutors, as we call them in Ghana play in pressing charges or dropping charges — and based on their evidence scofflaws can be let go freely of charges or be convicted based on what charges the prosecutor may present to the court, right? And I believe that you also know for the fact that Samson Ayenini is also a practicing lawyer, even according to your own admission.

As for you, although you have never disclosed your profession on this web as I’m as I’m concerned, but through inference I can definitely say that you may not be a lawyer. And so how can you say that Samson was wrong and subjected him to name calling considering the fact that he definitely knew what he wanted to put across when he suggested that Kevin Taylor was left off the hook by the NDC/ Mahama administration?

Let me tell you that from what I read from the newspapers it was rather the NDC appointed Attorney General and his team who decided to drop the charges against Kevin Taylor and or must have presented a discontinued case— and based on that Kevin Taylor was acquitted on all charges that were brought against him.

We know that Kevin Taylor showed up at the court with his attorneys but was just a smokescreen scenario, because his cronies must’ve given him assurances that he would be discharged without any hesitation. I SHALL RETURN.

There was a time in Ghana that being called a lawyer in good standing meant a lot; you guys and girls carrying the cheapened certification and bar membership are no longer fit for purpose as greyhound dog-catchers.

For a lawyer and presumed journalist to make a statement not borne out by facts that either you, Sampson Lardy, or the NPP can prove shows your disdain for the truth and ample display that Kevin Taylor has truly rattled yours and the NPP cage.

The hate-Kevin Taylor crowd have forgotten that the Kumasi raised Kevin Taylor learned the use of insults from the NPP base where the NPP leadership, closet supporters and classroom educated but ignorant loud mouth folks prospered politically with insult-laced jandam. If you, Sampson Lardy and managment at Joy news, have the journalistic bonafides to conduct a worthy investigation you would know that a majority of NPP MP's from the former Brong-Ahafo and Ashanti regions are who they are because they mastered the art of insults and jandam.

If the NPP believes Kevin Taylor in paid by the NDC and therefore you, Mr. Lardy, a wannabe journalist and an NPP breed lawyer think its perfectly legal to attack and label every NDC act as tainted then you will have to justify your own defense of NPP actions and policy directives. Live by principles, Sampson Lardy, and you will never go wrong.

A true and legitimate legal mind would know the differences between expression that are truly covered by free speech rights, those that may be ripe as defamatory and those that are criminal and falls under inciting chaos and national security review. Kevin Taylor calling anyone a criminal cannot be reason enough for the NPP's presumed educated class to use as moral equivalence to someone who seeks to poison or kill anyone in Ghana. Secondly Kevin Taylor is a known entity that anyone of you NPP fanatics can drag to a court of law; you've seen it done before. Can the NPP say the same about their new found Joan of Arc who remains annoymous if she is truly up to a worthy cause?

By the way in Ghana's legal courses where does it say that tagging or labelling someone as a criminal carries the same legal weight as calling for the poisoning or killing of an identified person?
