I think Mr. Dowokpor's campaign for diversity of parties in parliament is prudent but I would have to inform him that Ghana's democracy will not be compromised by the irresponsible act of boycotting parliamentary proceedings for which constituencies have elected them.
We, the electorate agree with him that "Government without opposition is bad" but we don't believe in a formula that propagates officials being forced on the electorate in order to give Government some opposition. It is the duty of the opposition to present their cases in a more compelling manner to convince the voting public for their votes; but they have miserably failed at it and thus our current composition in parliament.
This plea for mercy from these two constituencies is an apple that has fallen not far from the apple tree that has been pleading with the Judiciary for mercy (redress) after haven suffered a 3% defeat.
Ghanaians, BE CAREFUL NOT TO HAND OVER POSITIONS TO POLITICIANS WHO HAVEN'T OR ARE NOT READY TO WORK HARD FOR THEM. IF THEY CANNOT WORK HARD OR FIGHT FOR YOUR VOTES HOW ARE THEY GOING TO WORK HARD OR FIGHT FOR YOU IN PARLIAMENT? God Bless our Country!

As much as I have sympathy for this PPP guy, I would like to remind him that politics are contest of ideas and therefore his suggestion as much as it garners sympathy must be totally disregard. It cheapens politics!
