Nana abusing legal process

The African opposition will never accept they lost an election, even in the freest and fairest election Ghana (and indeed Africa) has ever witnessed. Of course cheating must be condemned and resisted. But to abuse the legal process, as Nana Addo is doing, is most unfortunate.

Nana has vowed to win at all cost, so having lost at the polls he is resorting to the provision in the law that any citizen can appeal against the results. He is therefore assembling all sorts of lies in the name of evidence and thinks he can influence who constitutes the panel of judges of the Supreme Court who can somehow pronounce him president. Yes, he must win at all cost! The main preoccupation now is how to ensure that only judges favourable to the NPP are empanelled to whitewash any lies packaged as evidence. To achieve this the NPP must impugn those judges they think will not endorse this manoeuvre so that eventually they have a favourable panel.

Having taken part in the election, I am too shocked at the cooked up allegations from Nana. How can everyone, including returning officers, polling agents, local and international observers, journalists etc all collude and conspire to cheat the NPP? This is a preposterous supposition and anyone who believes the NPP's allegations will believe anything.

Nana Addo is simply a very sore loser who must do anything to discredit his opponent's victory.

But understand Nana, it is the effect of the drugs oooohhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can someone who claims to be knowledgeable penalise a memeber os his team for criticising a decision? It is know wonder Ghanaians don't appreciate diversity in their way of life. We hate criticism instead of taking the positives out of our bad choices. Dare criticise some of the so-called "big men" in Ghana and you will be maligned as nation-wrecker.
Otherwise someone like Afari-Gyan should be solely held responsible and accountable for the mess he has put the country through.

What prevented Obasanjo from inviting, say, Obama to attend the event if he really believe and think the black man is capable of managing his own affair as they foolishly want us to believe. Well, they say, birds of the same further flock together. No wonder Mahama himself was busy staging his first coup d'tat which send Mills to his grave in New York when Mill was serious struggling to survive the wicked ordeal of the NDC and Mahama here in Ghana. It serves Victor Smith right for the many lies he spewed about people across the political divide, both NDC/NPP. As for this President, by the time he leaves office, every ministry will have to dis-infect, renovate, annoint and perfumed for re-use by whoever replaces him. His filling every nook and cranny with with these two tribes Pepe and Ewe who always leave trails of BAD odour wherever they reside. Am even being nice here else would have used the word SMELL. AS a matter of fact the president is doing well assembling intelligent men and women to lead our forward match to achieving national agenda and the vision of NDC. However, the replacement of General Smith of the Defence Ministry is one appointment misplaced. General Smith is an insider when it comes to defence matters and ought to be maintained in post. The president needs to do appropriate consultations when it comes to defence matters and its staffing including a minister of defence. Somebody being a friend does not necessarily fits him to be an appointee to administer a specialized/sensitive institution like Ministry of Defence. Some may argue that many people of blank slate background have held the position but my view is the fact that, General Smith has done so well that he has to be maintained to continue what he is doing. It is the same political party in power and the president of the same party hence if there are ministers who have proved to have long term goals for their ministries they have to be maintained to complete or achieve their vision for their ministries. Gentlemen like Lt Col Gbevlo Lartey at the helm of affairs at the national security cannot be merely replaced by somebody because he is a mere acquaintance or a friend of the President. That might be a very bad decision. This President, smart as I can see him and the promising composure he exhibits, he is however, making a lot of appointments pointing to the north of Ghana, perhaps an attempt to satisfy them for their massive support and votes for the party at the election but that is a dent in a way. He must do some consultations with the top brass of the party to ensure fair play and also to satisfy and seal any agitation that may raise its ugly head after all appoints are done.
