  The CPP should not read much into the Kumbungu by-election. What had happened was a protest voting. The CPP needs to do a very hard work to be able to hang on to the seat in the next general election. Nevertheless, it is a very good first step toward creating surprises. It is a wake-up call for the party to reorganise its organisational ability for the onslaught to capture more seats in the next elections. Financial constraint aside, the party has the potential to do well the next time around, if it takes the advantage likely to be surrendered as the effect of the supreme court political squabble takes its toll on the two major parties, the NPP and NDC.

  You are a dreamer. What happened in Kumbungu was just by chance. If we were hold general elections today, the fortunes of CPP would not improve. Get over this and we will see at the 2016 elections. When you yourself will no longer be Vice Presidential Candidate your postings will take a different tone.

  CPP SHOULD HAVE FOUGHT FOR THAT SEAT WITH ALL THEY HAD.....AS USUAL THEY ARE DELUDED BY THE FACT THAT SOMEONE ALSO CLAIMS TO BE NKRUMAIST.

  There are opportunities for the CPP in the political market but petty squabbles and infighting within the CPP itself let alone the wider Nkrumaist spectrum are scuppering their ability to mount a decent platform to show Ghanaians what they can do.
  The NPP has a solid constituency that the CPP does not have. The NPP can therefore pander to that constituency with all manner of allegations.
  The CPP must play a completely different game. A word to the wise is in the north

  the Fantis were mislead into believing ndc meant well and would continue the path of honesty and integrity set by mills . slowly eyes have been opened to see the reality of this hegemonic ayigbe selfish incompetent corrupt govt. from now on it will be each his own and ndc will never carry the day again in any of the Akan territories , only ppp cpp or npp will pass. the demographics of the country have changed and now the Fantis speaking people of western and central regions have the numbers to form their own state if pushed into war by these wish to dominate and buga buga oppress ewe led govt. it is not enough that they killed mills now they push further to put the people into poverty and misery hoping to break the spirit of the people as they have been trying to do since before kotoka. first it was the brain drain that took most of the intellectuals away to serve some pointless civil service that ignored their own people instead of decentralization, then the schools were opened to all except those that built and nurtured them in the first place. then came the period of deny any gainful employment so they were forced to emigrate to other lands. then all projects and industry that made logical sense including sustainability were placed elsewhere or not even processed. so today even the tradition industry the ordinary man could do to scratch a living are purposely being neglected or destroyed such as the fishing industry and the farming. we see all and say no more , long live the republic of Akan
