We are not going to develop as a nation if we refuse to elect our local leaders, give them the authority to tax and spend in their local communities instead of central govt dictating from afar. Ayekoo to Paa Kwasi Nduom and all the local pressure groups trying to create a better Ghana

  I agree 1000% with Nduom.What is the point of the president choosing one out of 5 AFTER VETTING ?? This is a joke of the year!!

  Forget the man, forget the party, let's rally around this big, great idea so we all benefit. Ghana needs this change. Let the people elect their own local Chief Executives.

  In my opinion, the local people should elect their own Chief Executives.A person I know very well, who had no idea at all to be the MCE,was placed there by the Prez. because of his party affiliation.He has been very very incompetent but nobody can axe him.The locals would never have given him a single vote because his incompetence was well known to them!The locals know who can perform so let them elect their MCE`s and DCE`s.
